South Lake Wiffle Ball was established in the spring of 2016 by Cade Messer. The organization originated with a league and an end of the year tournament. As time went on that tournament is now known as the South Lake Wiffle Ball Classic which donates all its proceeds to Jackie’s Cause. The tournament is the largest in the state of Iowa and it continues to grow tremendously year after year. Over the past six years, South Lake Wiffle Ball, has raised over $21,000 for Jackie’s Cause, which raises money and awareness for kids with spinal cord cancer. In the last 6 years over 175 teams and 500 players have experienced this annual event that has been featured in the Dyersville Commercial, Cascade Pioneer and even aired on KCRG TV9 News!
